SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED FOR 2022 SUNSHINE SLAM

PRINCETON, N.J. – The match-ups are set for the 2022 Sunshine Slam (@thesunshineslam) that will take place from November 21-22 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The field for the event consists of Georgia, South Florida, Saint Joseph’s, and UAB playing in the Beach bracket and Bucknell, Austin Peay, UAlbany, and Presbyterian competing in the Ocean bracket. Three games, including the Beach Bracket Championship, will air nationally on CBS Sports Network. FloSports will air five additional games, including the Ocean Bracket Championship and the Beach and Ocean Brackets consolation games.

-----CHAMPIONSHIP/CONSOLATION SCHEDULE – Tuesday, November 22-----

12:00pm – Ocean Bracket Championship (FloSports)              4:00pm – Beach Bracket Championship (CBSSN)

8:30pm – Ocean Bracket Consolation (FloSports)                     6:30pm – Beach Bracket Consolation (FloSports)

Tickets for the Sunshine Slam may be purchased in advance at TicketMaster.com or on the day of competition at the Ocean Center box office.

In addition to the games in Daytona Beach, each team in the Beach Bracket will host a team from the Ocean Bracket prior to arriving in Florida. They are:

November 16 – Presbyterian at UAB                                            November 17 – Austin Peay at USF

November 17 – UAlbany at Saint Joseph’s                                 November 18 – Bucknell at Georgia

In the Sunshine Slam this past November, Utah and Air Force won their respective brackets. The Utes beat Boston College and Tulsa to win their championship, while the Falcons took down Holy Cross and Bethune-Cookman to win their trophy.
